About the Retreats
I like to think of a retreat as a kindness and a gift to the self. A precious time to get away from the demands and stresses of everyday life where we can breathe and just be, have some fun and… enjoy yoga.
My retreats allow you to spend a weekend or maybe even a week or more with like minded people in a variety of lovely, tranquil settings. From a yoga point of view a retreat provides the space for you to immerse yourself in your practice and explore different teachings and approaches. I usually base my retreats around a theme which is woven throughout the week, drawing in many aspects of yoga which in a weekly yoga class there is rarely time to consider.
My retreats are definitely not boot camps for yogis. There is always plenty of time to enjoy the local area and generally a free day or half day for excursions. Non yogi partners are welcome to come along.
I am so pleased that my students regularly tell me they emerge at the end of their stay feeling refreshed and reinvigorated, ready to face life again.
